For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
hebrews 4:12
This past week we looked at the idea of filling ourselves with the fullness of God. when i think of the times that i am truly full i have to correlate it with 2 things; 1. How i read the bible and 2. When i read the bible. Your answer to those two questions will more than likely dictate how well you are walking with the Lord. Colossians 3 lists rules for Holy living but i honestly think that how much we put God's word in to our hearts will dictate the way we live our lives. Hebrews 4 says that the word of God is LIVING and ACTIVE. As we are being made in the likeness of Christ in hope to be poured out, understand that you MUST be filling your heart and mind with the living word of God. I encourage you to really study the bible. don't just open it up and start reading. Fill your life with what really matters. Light up the darkness

i think that this verse represents my spiritual life because i need to recognize the oppurtunities to share God's love that are set in front of me by God himself, whether it be in big ways or small ones. the picture that i chose to represent this verse was a hand reaching out to another. it wouldn't let me post it, though:( this picture represented the verse because it shows one person making the most of and oppurtunity to help someone.
